The entire team was kind, caring, and professional, making both of us feel comfortable throughout the process. This review is long overdue! We visited Dr. Mo  in May after a recommendation from a friend. My 3 year old son had knocked out a baby tooth with an action figure. We are from out of town and the recommendation from our  dentist was to have the root tip extracted and that general anesthesia would be the only way to get it out due to my son’s age. Our dentist urged us to seek out a pediatric dentist and we are thankful we found Dr. Mo. Dr. Mo fit us in quickly - we had an appointment four days after I called. Due to a misunderstanding on my part I thought we would be able to get the extraction completed that day - when in reality it was a consult visit. Dr. Mo appreciated that we were from out of town and that I had prepped my son for the dental work he would have done and squeezed us and the extraction procedure -in. I had prepped my son that laughing gas would be used but when the gas cart came into the room my son panicked. Even though Dr. Mo was running behind in his day and he could have easily bailed on us because my son didn’t want the gas -Dr Mo patiently  pivoted and suggested we try the extraction with just regular freezing. Dr Mo was able to freeze my 3 year old for an extraction and my son didn’t seem bothered by it at all! Dr. Mo was gentle, kind, skilled, patient and confident in managing a scared squirmy 3 year old. Two months later my son is still talking about Dr. Mo and how awesome he was and asks when we can go back and see him. Considering Dr. Mo extracted his tooth and that’s not exactly a fun event - that comment alone should motivate everyone to choose Dr. Mo at Sunshine Dental.

David was very excited at how smoothly his filling went today. The fact that his broken tooth didn’t result in a pulled tooth thrilled him!  At 90, he still has most of his teeth!  The service, over and above care shown him by the dental team was much appreciated!
